We are honoured to have the premier dance and music teachers from LADO, the esteemed Croatian Folk Dance Ensemble from Zagreb, Croatia, as our instructors for these seminars. Dancers and Musicians from Canada and the United States will learn from some of Croatia’s highly regarded dance and music teachers about traditional Croatian folk dancing, music, costuming and traditional music playing of the tambura while enjoying the unique opportunity to engage in a rich cultural exchange with fellow folklore enthusiasts. The Dance and Music Seminars will be a valuable educational resource for up-and-coming dance and music teachers. Participants will learn new techniques and skills directly from dedicated and renowned professionals in their field and build toolkits, which they can apply to their future teaching endeavours. By attending these seminars, the teachers of today and tomorrow can enrich their understanding of traditional Croatian folk dancing and music, further developing their skills and expertise in these art forms.
